A Limited Edition Print is an original image limited to a predetermined print quantity. The edition is hand signed and numbered by Stephen Wiltshire. The numbers on the print denote the individual piece number in the edition over the total edition size (i.e. 75/100). The choice of paper, printing technique, the size of the edition, the consistent quality of each print in the edition are just as critical as Stephen's choice of subject matter and style.
Every print we produce is a unique piece of fine art. The majority of original works are available as open edition (not limited to predetermined print quantity) prints and are produced upon your order. The printing method, ink and paper used ensure the highest quality and longevity of the artwork.
Our printing facilities are managed by RGB Uk Ltd, who are members of the Fine Art Trade Guild and have over 30 years of experience in fine art printing and publishing. They are also a great bunch of people, whom it has been a joy to work with.
We use Hahnemuhle acid free archival / museum quality paper and only pigment based inks that gives us the necessary blue wool scale results to truly offer the archive time required. We have a printed piece of work tested each year to stay a Fine Art Trade Guild recommended printer. With our choice of paper, inks, mounts, frames and accessories, our Limited and Open Edition prints shall not require restoration for at least 150 years. The longevity can be indeed achieved as long as the humidity, temperature and direct sunlight exposure in environment the artwork is displayed stays within the recommended limits.
