Having made the most of an excellent Dutch breakfast Stephen settles down to work on his picture. He sits at the open window of his hotel room, getting a clear view of the building, thinks for a moment and then puts on his coat and scarf, sensible fellow. He starts at 10am. The drawing takes time and at around 12:30 he signs his name, stands up, stretches and announces in his new, deep voice: `It is finished.` I ask him if he is pleased with the drawing. `Yes, it is very nice, it is like St Pancras Station.`
Original Drawing of Central Station measuring 594 x 420mm (A2), created and hand drawn by the artist.
