The Royal Pavilion, also known as the Brighton Pavilion, is a former royal residence with a colourful history. Designed by John Nash in Gothic and Indo-Saracenic architectural style and completed in 1823, the former civic and later seaside retreat is now open to all visitors. Stephen captured its iconic front elevation using pen and pencil, giving sharpness and depth to his creation of the Pavilion in its full glory. The original artwork is now available for sale.
