For this centenary vote IStructE has enlisted the architectural artist Stephen Wiltshire to draw an imaginary cityscape that combines all 16 nominated buildings. The illustration, above, reveals the modern obsession with height and curves; three maverick designs, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, La Grande Arche in Paris and the Sydney Opera House, cast more unusual outlines in the image. Once you see one of his layered pencil cityscapes or bright painted panoramas you wont just want to own it, you will want to live in it. As well as infinite creative drive, Stephen is lucky enough to have a market clamouring for more. An inspiring place with a great story, and lots of stuff you will want to buy. (July 08)

SpoonFed

Wiltshire`s is surely more helpful for tourists than Bünting`s symbolic map, but the clover does show how artists tend to create the Holy Land in their own image, which is perhaps where Spertus encountered its troubles. Kudos to Wiltshire for creating a non-partisan view. (June 08)

Disappointment for Jerusalem Municipality but mainly for thieves who stole autistic artists painting hanging on the Old Citys walls. This week, two faceless people arrived at the site in the middle of the night and managed to climb the wall and steal the painting... (June 08)
